Only Trophies earned during the corresponding season are counted for the World Rankings.
In the final stadium, the Trophy count indicated in the World Ranking will continue to be added even if the number of Trophies has maxed out.

When a new season begins, you start with World Points that have been given to you based on the number of Trophies you have earned.
